I no longer associate with, interact with, speak to, care about, etc. the person known variously as: Kassie, Chroma, Lumi, Alexys, and any other names she may go by.

I promise btw I can appear super gruff and prickly but I really am nice in private.

Decided to move to be with my wife @liv, nothing personal @BalooUriza! It isn't anything you've done.

I don't know what you need to be a valid woman. I dunno, probably like gossip or something. /j

All you need to be a valid man is to be a miserable little pile of secrets. /lh /j

@raphaelmorgan I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as cops, is in fact, Capitalism/cops, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, Capitalism plus cops. Cops are not an economic system unto themselves, but rather another oppressive component of a barely functioning system made useless by the libs, Nazis, "centrists," and other bad actors comprising a full government as defined by the constitution. Many people worldwide run a version of Capitalism every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of the Capitalism which is widely used today is often called “cops”, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically Capitalism, developed by the robber barons of old and their descendants. There really is cops, and these people are being oppressed by them, but it is just a part of the system they live in. Cops are the enforcement system: the system that maintains the status quo. The enforcement system is an essential part of a government, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete government. Capitalism is normally used in combination with cops: the whole system is basically Capitalism with cops added, or Capitalism/cops. All the so-called “cops” are really just tools of the system.

@raphaelmorgan its actually quite similar, except in that instead of "people who hate bi lesbians" its "people who are looking for an excuse to hate a transfem"

(Except twitter also does the latter too)

Mind you I don't want accolades for not being a piece of shit. I am doing something everyone should strive to do:

Grow and improve.

@Elizafox cancel Elizafox bc they're pro cop [screenshot that is not at all pro cop] and also I believe in forever punishing people for bad takes rather than educating them or at all trying to minimize harm!

Honestly if you're gonna cancel me despite the fact I work on myself every day and am transparent that I am flawed, you're not a friend, and I don't need you nor want your approval. It means you don't believe in the power of others to change and reform. It means you don't believe in restorative justice. You'd rather use the stick before your words. That's bullshit.

Don't be afraid to admit your flaws and admit you're working on them. It filters out the people who don't give a fuck about you. No one is perfect. Anyone who says otherwise is lying.

There is no evidence that Queen Elizabeth or Prince Philip ever visited the Kamloops Indian Residential School. Queen Elizabeth is the Canadian head of state, so the royal family’s visits to Canada are well documented. British Columbia’s website indicates that the royal couple has only visited the city of Kamloops together once in 1959, and Prince Philip visited the city alone in 1983.

Closer examination of the article reveals other red flags that add to its dubiousness. The two organizations, the “International Common Law Court of Justice” and the “International Tribunal into Crimes of Church and State,” are not legally recognized governing bodies. Both are linked to the Canadian conspiracy theorist Kevin Annett, according to Snopes.

the residential schools were a horrific crime against an enormous number of people

let’s not cheapen the gravity of that with lurid conspiracy theories about individual perpetrators doing bizarre things at bizarre scales

Fans, for the protection of players and fans, and in the spirit of good sportsmanship, the National Basketball Association requests that you refrain from throwing any objects at participants or onto the court. Such behavior can cause serious injury and violators will be ejected and subject to arrest. We also remind you that any spectator going onto the court at any time will also be ejected and subject to arrest. We thank you for your cooperation.

(C-)PTSD culture has a lot of "feeling sorry for ourselves" type behaviour which can help with support but at times leads to active avoidance of self-improvement that at times can and does harm others.

Before you @ me do know I have C-PTSD, I know what it's like, I do not need a lecture about how all this works.

I live with this and my experience has taught me all this, as have the experiences of others.

Consider if you're evading doing the necessary mental work to get better because it's more comfortable that way.

It is something I've had to cope with myself. It's hard but it's necessary. Some of my triggers I can go my whole life without encountering again. Others are shit I have had to work on, and still need to sometimes.

My trauma is an explanation. It doesn't let me off the hook. Excuses about this are attempts to evade accountability and avoid a trigger which needs to be dealt with.

Show thread

I heard today the phrase from a fellow trauma survivor

"valid feels but not valid action"

And you know what? A lot of actions that are the result of trauma avoidance and being triggered are like that.

The feelings may be valid, but the actions can sometimes be atrocious, damaging to others, or worse, even triggering or traumatising.

It isn't okay to just treat others like crap or shirk responsibility because of trauma.

You have to work through it and deal with it, because the alternative is you go through life hurting others and/or yourself constantly.

I'm trying to draw even if I'm bad at it because 1) it doesn't matter, 2) my brain NEEDS a creative outlet that isn't writing like Lake Mead needs water.
